Talking with my hands

Meagan is now 14 months old and talking. She says about 12-14 words that we understand, the latest of which is bala bala (code for broccoli.) It is her favortite veggie and she asks for that or crackers any time she is hungry. Meagan is also learning sign language. She can sign "more", "please" (accompanied by a very cute smile), "thank you", "all done" and "ball". Meagan's newest sign is "milk", her very favorite food in the world. It took her about 2 days to realize that when she signed milk, she usually got it and since then she has been signing it every time we turn around. Needless to say, she is also learning that she doesn't get everything she asks for, no mather how cute she looks.

Meagan is walking much better and has started bending and picking things up without falling. She still loves her books and making music. The latest fun thing to do is watch the washing machine spin the clothes around and around in the water. She seems to learn something new every day!
