Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe 2006 is over and another year has begun. Meagan has grown so much this past year. She wasn't even walking this time last year and now she is nonstop motion - running, walking up & down the stairs, doing forward rolls and the list goes on. We went to the coffee house at church on New Years Eve and then spent the evening watching movies. We didn't get to see the ball drop because our cable was out. Bob & I spent the next 2 days taking down Christmas decorations and rearrnging furniture while Meagan played with all of her new toys. We moved her kitchen set from the basement to the family room so she can play with it more often. This ment the love seat and the coffee table went into the living room. It took a while, but everything fits nicely now.

Meagan went to the doctor for her 2 year checkup on Jan 3rd and everything is great. The doctor was very pleased that Meagan gained 3lbs and grew 2". She is also very impressed with her verbal skills. Meagan weighs in at 27lbs and she is 34" tall. (A big improvement over her 1 year checkup where she had only gained 2oz.) Meagan loves to sign and her favorite songs are "Jesus Loves Me", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". I am amazed at how many words she can put together when she is singing - 12 to 13 word verses 5-6 when she is talking. We are still working on potty training; some days are better than others, but she is still excited about trying.
