Visiting With My Cousins

Meagan and mommy drove to Suffolk, VA this week to visit Meagan's cousins, Ryan & Kaitlin, and her Auntie Sara & Uncle Chris. She played in their back yard and on the swing set which was lots of fun. We did some shopping and found cute white shoes for both of the girls and an Easter vest for Ryan. Meagan loves her cousin Ryan and the feeling is mutual. Ryan gave and got lots of hugs and Meagan likes to play with his hair. Kaitlin was getting her share of hugs and kisses this time too. She calls Meagan "baby" and follows after her giving her toys, sippy cup, etc. She has become quite the little mother. The other member of the Huhtala family is Jessie the beagle, whom Meagan thinks is very funny. Jessie licks her face & fingers and Meagan laughs like crazy. Meagan also discovered that Jessie is helpful in the disposal of unwanted food. When Meagan was done eating she would lean over the side her chair and hand Jessie her food. She also thought Jessie's bed made a good yoga mat.
On the way home we stopped at Pop Pop and Grandma's house to visit. Meagan was a little shy at first, but once she warmed up she stole the show. She showed them her sign language and her "I am so very cute" smiles and had everyone laughing.
As much as we enjoyed visiting everyone, it is nice to be home. Meagan sleeps much better in her own bed and slept until 8:10 this morning instead of the 5:30 & 6:00 wake-up calls I got earlier in the week.
