Our Little Ballerina
Meagan is taking KinderDance this year and loves it. She gets to wear a blue or pink "tu-toot" and ballet slippers. She is the youngest child in the class, but she is doing very well. The 1 hour class is separated into 3 parts: ballet, tumbling and tap. She is learning how to make 1st position "pizza" feet, plait, releve' and curtsy. All the girls look so cute in their leotards and tap shoes. They have lots of fun stomping around the room making noise. They are learning how to shuffle and tap their toes (not so easy for a 2 yr old). In tumbling they are working on backward rolls and walking backward on the balance beam. Meagan is having a great time in the class and is learning very quickly.
