Pumpkinville

Meagan, Mommy & Daddy took a trip to Pumpkinville today. Meagan went down the big slides with daddy and then by herself. She kept saying "do again, do again". She went on a moon bounce, and a hay ride and ate popcorn. She also fed the animals and had a pumpkin painting on her face. I was surprised she held so still and didn't try to wipe it off. Her favorite things were the slides, the popcorn and the animals ("feed 'nother animal"). It was a beautiful day with lots of sun and only a little windy. She was so tired when we got home she went right to sleep.

PeePee Potty

Meagan has desided she wants to be a big girl. Ever since my sister visited the end of July Meagan has wanted to sit on the potty like her cousin kaity. I let her go potty any time she asked to without really thinking about potty training (mommy didn't think she was ready). Well, much to my surprise about 2 weeks ago she made peepee's on the potty and has wanted to go potty regularly ever since. Like with any new thing she has her good days and her not so good days, but she is started to become more consistant. She told me she needed to potty 4 times at the mall last night which adds a whole new demention to shopping. Her favorite parts of the experience are washing her hands and getting stickers. She really likes using toilet paper too.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Monday, October 2nd we celebrated Bob's birthday. We went out to dinner on Saturday and then opened gifts and had cake on Monday. Meagan was very excited about daddy's balloons and telling him "happy day". Our neighbors, Chris & Poppie and their daughter Keira came over to help us celebrate. Meagan asked everyone if they wanted ice cream. She also got to "hold" baby Keira which made her very happy. She talked about their visit for several days and is still having fun playing with daddy's balloons.
