In the Trunk

There is an old trunk in my bedroom which belonged to my Great Grandfather. Meagan likes to pretend she is opening it with some old keys that don't belong to anything. The other day I was putting some blankets away and Meagan climbed in - who knew it could be so much fun. She posed for several pictures some which included pictures of her "pretty toes".Happy Halloween!

Meagan enjoyed her 1st halloween dressed as Raggedy Ann. She thought it was cool that she got to wear Annie's clothes. Her costume belongs to her life size rag doll which came from a flea market in OR 2 months before she was born. Meagan loved having her nose painted and she cried when I washed it off. For the next week she wanted "nose paint". She was willing to go up to the houses and"tricky treat" , but the Annie hair came off between each house.

Great Wolf Lodge

Bob & I took Meagan to GreatWolf Lodge near Williamsburg, VA. We were joined by Auntie Sara, Ryan & Kaity for a day of splashing, swimming and story telling. They have a great indoor water park with slides, wave pool, lazy river and more. After swimming on Sunday, we joined Meagan's godparents, Mike & Shannon for dinner. Dinner was followed by storytime at the clock tower and a proformance by the woodland creatures & Princes Yellow Feather. All of our vistitors left and after a good night sleep we started a new day of fun acivities. I got an early birthday gift, a message, while Bob & Meagan went on a "nature" walk and made an origami wolf. Then it was back to the water park. Meagan loved the water slides and "riding" the snake. It was a great weekend and we look forward to going back again.
