Our Little Princess

Meagan likes princesses - Cinderella & Tinkerbell are her favorites. Today she went to a princess tea party at the community center in her cinderella dress. They colored princess pictures, made magic wands and had cookie and juice. At the end of the party they got princess stickers and had a parade.

On Thursday we went to Layng's Flower Farm with play group. They have a fall festival with pumpkins, moon bounce, slides and popcorn. Meagan was excited about the moon bounce and the big slides. She pick out 2 very cute pumpkins "Meagan sized, so I can carry them". We went on a hayride through the "deep, deep woods", and "saw lots of characters" and Meagan went through the hay bail maize. She enjoyed her time at the farm so much she wanted to know if we could come back tomorrw.

Daddy's Birthday

We celebrated Bob's birthday day with a quiet evening at home. Meagan was sick, but feeling a little better. We got him a digital picture frame, a movie and some cookies. Meagan was very excited about the cake. She helped pick out the candles and the spinkles. We were happy to have Daddy home for his birthday because we though he was going to leave for his business trip before his party.

Renaissance Festival

To celebtate Bob's birthday we went to the Renaissance Festival in Crownsville, Maryland. Bob & I have been there several times, but it was Meagan's 1st time and she loved it. We got her a dress and a crown, she looked so cute. We watched a couple of shows, looked in some shops and went on the giant slides. Meagan rode on a pony (twice) and Meagan & Daddy rode on an elephant. We watched the jousting tourament and saw a knighting ceremony. Meagan's favorite parts of the day were the pony ride and the elephant. Her favorite show was William Teller the story teller. He was great with the kids and told a great story. She even talked to him when we saw him walking around later. This was a big deal since Meagan is a bit shy with men. He definitly made an impression on her.
